Our service brings together a series of specialist design consultations covering appliances and plumbing fixtures, joinery, interior finishes, lighting, home automation and furniture. Each consultation is supported by expert advice and detailed documentation of your selections.
Where do the interior design consultations take place?
Consultations are held at our Gallerie Studio and specialist partner showrooms, giving you the opportunity to see, touch and compare materials, finishes and products before making your selections.
What selections will I make with the interior designer?
Your interior designer will guide you through selections such as internal and external colours, flooring, tiles, cabinetry finishes, benchtops, tapware, fixtures and other materials and finishes required to create a cohesive design throughout your home.
Will you help me select appliances and plumbing fixtures?
Yes. A dedicated Appliance & Plumbing Fixture consultation gives you access to a wide range of products and expert advice to help you select appliances, tapware, sanitaryware and plumbing fixtures that suit your home, preferences and budget.
Do you provide joinery design?
Yes. Our Joinery Design Studio includes a personalised consultation to develop the cabinetry and joinery throughout your home. You will receive conceptual joinery plans, elevations, realistic 3D perspectives and a comprehensive finishes schedule.
Is lighting design included?
Yes. Our Lighting Design Studio helps develop a considered lighting and electrical layout for your home. You will receive expert guidance on fixture selection, lighting placement and functionality, along with detailed plans and a fixture specification schedule.
Can you help with smart home and home automation?
Yes. Our Home Automation Studio allows you to explore options including smart lighting, blind control, security, CCTV, intercom, audio, networking and climate control. Your selections can then be incorporated into a tailored home automation plan.
Can you help me choose furniture for my new home?
Yes. Our Furniture Studio provides access to the GlobeWest showroom, where a design consultant can help you select furniture and homewares to complement your home’s interior design. You will also receive a personalised Moodbook and quotation for your selected pieces.
How long does the interior design and selections process take?
Our main Interior Design & Selections consultations are generally completed over approximately 30 days, with individual appointments typically taking a few hours. We coordinate the process to ensure selections are completed in time for the next stages of your project.
Can I upgrade items from the standard inclusions?
Yes. You will have the opportunity to explore both our standard inclusions and a range of upgrade options throughout the selections process. Where upgrades are considered, pricing is provided so you can make informed decisions while managing your overall budget.
Can I change my selections after the consultations?
Changes may be possible depending on the stage of your project and whether products or materials have already been ordered. We recommend finalising selections during the design process wherever possible to minimise delays, additional costs or changes during construction.
What documentation will I receive after my selections?
You will receive detailed documentation relevant to your selections, which may include finishes schedules, joinery drawings and 3D perspectives, lighting and electrical layouts, home automation plans and furniture Moodbooks. These documents help ensure your selections are clearly communicated and coordinated before construction.
